Mobilisation activities (medicals, visa applications, temporary accommodation, travel etc.) for Australia Awards scholarship recipients commence in Term 4. Additional support for awardees with disability is provided as part of the mobilisation process.

A two week pre-departure program is delivered by representatives of the Australian Government, Alumni, Topic Specialists and the Australia Awards team in the final two weeks of the fourth term of study. Accompanying dependents are encouraged to participate in the pre-departure program. Awardees who are not required to complete EAP or Foundation Studies must attend the two week pre-departure program.
