Awardees
An awardee is an applicant who has received an Australia Awards Scholarship funded by the Australian Government.
Offers for Australia Awards are deemed ‘conditional’ until awardees meet the academic and English language entry requirements of their
selected university. Awardees then sign a contract in respect of the award with the Commonwealth of Australia.
Awardees undergo two complementary processes – Placement and Mobilisation – to facilitate their study in Australia.
